New CPAN Infographics on Life-history interviews

Life-history interviews, which are at the core of CPAN’s research approach, are in-depth individual interviews to identify the most important events during an individual’s life and the potential causes of an increase or decrease in well-being. In collaboration with local researchers, CPAN and ODI staff undertook focus group discussions and life histories in villages in Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Uganda in the framework of the project "Preventing backsliding to end extreme poverty".

Incorporating Pro-poorest Growth in the SDGs: Moving beyond the MDGs

Hosted by the Asian Development Bank at its headquarters in Manila and funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), this two-day conference was a great opportunity to bring together policy makers, renowned economists, government officials and members of the civil society to exchange experiences and points of view on the importance of including pro-poorest growth policies into the SDGs.
